EveryBody Fit Training Academy is a training provider delivering nationally recognised fitness qualifications. Their qualifications are delivered as a blended approach, combining at home study with face to face delivery days delivered by highly qualified and experienced tutors. They had an existing (Wix) website for their gym, but asked Picture Engine to separate out and build a new Training Academy website for their fitness instructor courses.
Website Redesign
Everybody Fit is an established fitness brand in the Preston area, with a strong visual identity created previously for their gym website built using Wix. PIcture Engine was asked to use the same visual cues and branding, but based in WordPress, so that the two sites would be clearly and visibly associated by anyone visiting both. However, the new site needed to focus solely on the fitness instructor training aspect of the business with the main aim being to get visitors to either enquire about courses or sign up for them.
Course Booking & Payment
A significant aspect of this brief was to enable potential customers to sign up and pay online immediately, and Picture Engine therefore used the WooCommerce plugin integrated with a payment gateway to enable this. Unlike (for example) a gym class, these training courses can be quite high value and using Wix for this would potentially result in a larger chunk of the revenue being taken in fees. Potential learners can now sign up online straight away if they wish.
