Project Description
Sunflower Childcare Group is a business based in Hyde, Greater Manchester, comprising three day nurseries in the local area. They asked us to take over the hosting and management of their website from the existing hosting firm, who they were finding quite slow to respond to update requests. In the process we have started working on updating the website, with a more SEO- and user-friendly design.
Having researched many service providers, we moved our hosting and website management to Picture Engine following a recommendation. From onset it was evident that Andrew was a cut above the rest. Andrew’s tenacity and attention to detail has clearly been defined in the prompt improvements to our previous website and his fast and professional service is second to none
Website Rescue
Sunflower Childcare Group were largely happy with the look of their existing site, but they wanted some work on “User Experience” and SEO, and needed a faster response when asking for these site amendments to be made. Picture Engine therefore transferred the site to our hosting and did some work “under the bonnet” – updating out of date software and themes, setting up SEO, working through the site images adding “ALT” tags and submitting the revised site to search engines. We are now working on streamlining some of the site design and improving the general user experience.
Contact
The main purpose of Sunflower’s website is to get prospective parents to get in touch, ideally to book a tour round the nursery they’re interested in. The main focus of this site therefore is to drive users to the contact page and get them to make contact. We have streamlined the contact forms and made sure that they are going to the correct email addresses, in order to speed up response times.
