Vision Kitchens and Bathrooms is a successful home improvements design and installation company based in Coatbridge, Scotland. They contacted Picture Engine via our listing in the Ionos Partner Network, and asked us to take over the hosting and management of their website and email from the existing hosting firm, who had set it up as a favour and were now struggling to find time to maintain it properly due to the demands of their core business.
Website Rescue
Vision Kitchens and Bathrooms were happy overall with their existing site, but they wanted some work on “User Experience” and SEO, and a faster response when asking for site amendments to be made. Picture Engine therefore transferred the site to our hosting and did some work “under the bonnet” – updating out of date software and themes, setting up SEO, working through the site images to remove any that were redundant and adding “ALT” tags to the rest, submitting the revised site to search engines and moving the email provision to a more stable and easier to manage platform. We are also helping with listing the business in a wide range of local directories, and using the clients Ionos account to optimise their SEO and marketing.
Monthly Offers
One of Vision Kitchens and Bathrooms main reasons for moving hosts was to get a faster response to queries and requests for site updates. They have a special offer every month on both kitchens and bathrooms, and part of the monthly maintenance arrangement with Picture Engine is that we upload the monthly offer to the site immediately, so that the client can share on social media – we also handle the graphics, including adding “Sale” or “Special Offer” banners, and where necessary we update the special offer listing in online directories.
